Samsung announced Galaxy Camera


Korean chaebol announcing its Galaxy Camera today for the Samsung Android-based camera which is rumored earlier, turned out to be true. Running on Jelly Bean (Android 4.1), the shooter boasts Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth connectivity which allows for easy sharing of stills and videos online or with compatible smartphones as well as geotagging of images.
Aside from 8GB of internal memory, the new camera also packs a 16-megapixel CMOS sensor, a 4.8-inch LCD screen and features an ISO range between 100 and 3,200. The point-and-shoot is equipped with a 23mm wide-angle zoom lens and features an impressive 21x optical zoom range. It is capable of capturing full-HD movies in 1080p as well as slow-motion videos at a 720 x 480 resolution.


This is just a response from Samsung prior to the release of the new Nikon Coolpix SC800 which has the touchscreen function, and has the Wi-fi capability for sharing pictures on most social media platforms such as facebook, twitter, instagram etc. When will the products be released in Malaysia and also the price range is yet to be released.
